By way of follow-up to the email I sent you last week about what you can do on your own (without law enforcement assistance) about crazy drivers:
1. In case this wasn't clear, going down to the courthouse and filing a citizen citation has EXACTLY the same force and effect as a ticket issued by a police officer--the court personnel give the offending driver a chance to come down, plead guilty or not guilty, and so on. Of course, the likelihood that someone would plead not guilty is probably higher when a citizen has issued the citation.
2. You have to cite the driver, not the owner (although they are often the same person), and trying to figure out who the driver was is an initial hurdle. But there are ways to do that, and I can help you with it if you want. This would go for any other bicyclist who is harassed by a motorist.
