That was a TOUGH course yesterday! If I wasn't going flat out on the long
straightaway, I was getting super dizzy from all of the twists and turns
everywhere else. The rain holding out was a nice touch and it seemed like
the course got better/ faster as the day wore on. I had a blast and am
looking forward to this weekend's race at PIR. Since the forecast is calling
for a fair amount of rain, I am thinking it will be a greasy/ muddy affair
where technical skills will be maxed out and tire pressure will play a large
role in how the day stacks up. But enough of my predictions..
SAGE CYCLES DEMO BIKES FOR SALE:
I am selling our demo fleet of bikes! The bikes are priced to move and
available on a first come/ first serve basis. When you purchase a bike you
will get the following in addition to the bike itself:
. New cables and housing
. New bar tape
. New chain
. New brake pads
. A thorough cleaning and tune-up prior to customer delivery
I will have your bike turned around and delivered to you within the week so
that you can be racing on it for the upcoming weekend. There are still 7
weekends of racing left (15 races on the calendar), so you will have plenty
of time to put your new bike through the paces.
Prices and inventory for the demo bikes are as follows:
. 49cm PDXCX2: $2050- Qty = 1, MSRP $3700
. 52cm PDXCX2: $2050- Qty = 1, MSRP $3700
. 55cm PDXCX2: $2050- Qty = 2, MSRP $3700
. 58cm PDXCX2: $2050- Qty = 1, MSRP $3700
. 58cm PDXCX Special Edition: Price is TBD- Qty = 1. If you are
interested in this one, please ask about it. It has not been raced and was
used for a few test rides on pavement only. It is a unique build.
. 61cm PDXCX1: $2650- Qty = 1, MSRP $5000. This bike has not been
raced, but used as a media review bike. It is in excellent condition and
totally race ready.
I will also have 2 demo road bikes (Skyline models) available for sale. Both
bikes come with Ultegra Di2 6770 groups, Enve 2.0 road forks, Mavic wheels
and FSA components. These have only been used as media review bikes and have
not been raced. They will receive the same attention to detail as the CX
bikes above.

The 61cm bike listed above will be available for demo racing starting this
weekend. Please send me an email as a response here or through the Sage

me know what bike you would like to race on. As usual, please bring your
pedals, a credit card, and a photo ID and I will get you all set up on the
bikes. First come/ first serve!
