SPEEDSKATING AT MOUNTAIN VIEW ICE ARENA

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON

STARTS SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2003



Our actual time on the ice will be 6:15 to 7:15 PM

HOWEVER: we will start at 5:30 for equipment check, warm up, practice

itinerary and moving the pads.

With only one hour, we cannot afford to waste time talking after we are

on the ice. We will ask for more time by the fall after we prove

ourselves.



Thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of you who helped make it happen.

The faithful who week after week showed up and laced up at public

sessions towards this end. WE DID IT. IT'S OURS. From the bottom of my

heart, thank you. I don't need a car to get to the rink tonight- - -I'm

flying!



Now that we got a grip on the ice, we'll focus on getting out our first

newsletter with all the details. Also a flyer is on the way this week

for folks to tack up on every bulletin board, ice rink, roller rink,

etc., any place you can think of.



We are planning an Open House with USS support at a date to be

determined. We welcome input, suggestions and help.
