Good morning everyone, its been a full and fun season for Hammer Velo this year and things are winding down for 2013....
The final organized event for us every year is the HV Pay It forward Xmas Ride...This will be our 4th annual event, the past 3 years have been so much fun, raising the funds to help a needy family that has kids at Doernbechers Children's Hospital....then decorating all our bikes with lights, bells etc and riding out to the families house to deliver gifts on the bikes, the looks on the kids faces is Priceless.....So we are always looking for other OBRA teams or Groups to take on a family....If that maybe is an option for any of you out there, get in touch with me and I can make that happen......If not then we would love to have you join us in donating whatever you can or even just come ride with us.....Date will be set in a few weeks for the ride....Last year we raised over 1000.00 dollars to buy gifts for the family....It was a great way to start the Christmas holidays by making another family very happy.....Let me know if you are interested or just look for details soon on the ride date.....And thanks to all those that donated in the past, its a great event that we started and I know every family we have helped has really really appreciated it.....
