Yeah Baby!!!!
The Last Regiment. That is worth going out to PIR alone. Amazing primal
force they are. If you happen to be racing while they are playing even
better.......if not racing you can boogie!
As George Clinton said "Free your mind and your ass will follow"
Thank so very much Brad and Crew. I am sure the day will be epic.

Cross Crusade #7
PIR Infield

Wow, we are now over half way through the Cross Crusade. Hope everyone is
having a blast. Once again I need to thank my amazing crew for keeping me
sane during this time of the year. You guys are literally saving my life.

We do everything we can to keep new things coming each week. So I'd like to
announce that this weekend we'll have the Last Regiment of Syncopated
Drummers out making their trademarked holy hell of a racket. In 2003, the
Cross crusade hosted the US National CX Championships at PIR and we talked
this unheralded drum troop into coming out and putting on a show. It was
their first live performance and it has since become a trademark of the
Cross Crusade.

We had a problem last year with a surface that got laid down by the PIR
staff on some of their access roads. This surface resulted in many broken
bike parts. I promise you that the course this weekend will NOT be on any
of this surface.

The Crusade Crew will be on site all day Saturday building out another
amazing course. You are all welcome to come out to pre ride and set up team
tents any time after 3:00 in the afternoon.

There is ABSOLUTELY No riding on the PIR car race track all weekend. Any
rider caught riding on the racetrack will be sent home. I'm very serious.
No exceptions. Period. If you see someone on the track, tell them that we
will permanently lose this venue if riders are out there. Got it? This is
not Tues. night. Track is closed. Nuff said.

On a lighter side.

There will be Deschutes beer and wine from Bandit winery flowing, so bring a
bit of money to spend on that as well as great food from Madisons Grill and
the Peoples Pig.

Everyone should go race in the OBRA Championship on Saturday at Edgefield.
It's a cool venue that was once used for the Cross Crusade. See you Sunday.
