OBRA land,

I���ve got an older Biancho Nuovo Racing 12/V with lots of original, shiny Campy components, (kind of a family heirloom) that I���ve been restoring to turn in to a commuter. As it���s got eyelets for rack/fender mounts, I figured putting fenders on it to commute through the winter wouldn���t be much of an issue. As it turns out, i���m having some clearance issues near the rear brake, where the fender secures to the frame. I didn���t even attempt to install the front fender, but I���m guessing I���ll run in to the same problem. I���m running 700x25 Continental SuperSport Plus tires, and the fenders I attempted to install where the Planet Bike Hardcore Road fenders (35mm width). I���m going to return them to the shop today, but before I waste time and money on trying something else that I think might work, I figured I���d check with all of the experts here.

If you have any surefire recommendations (and experience with fenders on older 1980���s road frames), please shoot me a reply off list. It���d be greatly appreciated.
