That was a HARD race yesterday. I went out for a recovery ride today and my
hamstrings are still tight! The weather yesterday was perfect, the crowds
were amazing, and the racing as always. was AWESOME! Another great course as
it had a mix of everything for anyone who rode it. Barton should be another
blast of pain for all of those who will be attending. No idea what the
weather is supposed to be, but as long as we are having fun, it doesn't
really matter.
LAST WEEKEND FOR SAGE CYCLES DEMO BIKE FLEET!!!!
This coming weekend will be the last weekend I will be bringing the Sage
Cycles demo bike fleet to a CX race this year. It has been a super fun
season and I am really happy to have been a part of the Cross Crusade this
year, but alas, the year is almost over, and while there is one more race in
Bend after Barton, I will not be bringing the bikes there. Thus, if you are
interested in demo racing a bike this weekend, please let me know and I will
put you on the reservation list. As usual, it is first come/ first serve. I
will try not to double book people so no one has to turn over the bike
immediately after their race to another racer, but sometimes it can be
inevitable, so thank you for patience if it does happen. Please bring your
pedals, a photo ID, and a credit card when you come for the bike. You will
need to sign a release waiver before you take off with the bike and I will
give you your ID and CC back when the bike is returned to me.
If you are interested in purchasing a demo bike after the Barton race and
have not had a chance to test ride one, please email me here or using the
contact form on the www.sagetitanium.com website and we can set something
up. Please, only serious inquiries into the demo bikes. Both Bike Gallery
and Veloce Bicycles in Portland are stocking dealers and have bikes in
inventory. If you would rather have a new bike than a demo one, please visit
each of these stores as they will be happy to help get you on the bike that
you want.

Continuing the demo bike theme, the demo bikes have already started to sell.
Last weekend, the 49cm bike was sold to a very happy racer, and now, one of
the 55cm demo bikes has been sold to another racer. As such, there are no
more 49cm demo bikes available for either racing or purchase. There is one
more 55cm demo bike and it will be available this weekend for racing and
eventual purchase. The remaining demo bike inventory is:

The demo bikes for sale are being offered on a first come/ first serve
basis. If you are interested in one of the bikes, please let me know. There
might be a few other people that have expressed interest in the bike you
want, so it is possible that the bike might not be around when you are ready
to make the purchase.
