Before you yell at me for an OT posting, listen up.

I want a motorcycle. Those of you that know me will say that I am too old to take my life in my hands by riding a motorcycle. But, I figure that I have survived in mostly one piece after 44 years riding racing bikes, I did have a big motorcycle for years before I sold it to Dave Beede, who promptly hit a deer. I digress.

I want a 600cc or bigger motorcycle. Not a cruiser or touring bike, not a crotch rocket, but what is generally called a naked bike or standard bike. Something like a Honda 919, Suzuki SVS600 Kawasaki Z750S. Those of you into motorcycles know what I mean. Must be excellent mechanically and very good cosmetically. Should be valued at less than $5000 used.

What does this have to do with bicycles, you ask? I want to partially pay for this motorcycle with one of my too many bikes. I have a Calfee Tetra Pro, an IBIS Spanky, a Scattante cyclocross bike, and a beautiful Klein Attitude Comp hardtail. All fit me perfectly at 6' even.

I know it is a longshot, but with my Craigslist similar posting, I got three credible offers, but couldn't quite get together with the other person.
