So I've still have only done a hand full of cx races but that (Fazio) was by far my favorite course.  I'm sure it would of been completely different if it was dry, but that soupy mud was a blast, the killer down hill was incredible, the female heckler at the top of the other hill was a great motivator.  I heard that someone late in the day, tackled her to get her all muddy, awesome!
The energy was great out there today, it seemed that everyone liked this course, with all the mud!

I will definitely be out again next year for all the Fazio races!

Fazio was CRAZY FUN!  It was also the hardest race
I have done this year.  There were a couple of times I thought I was
going to be stuck in the mud out in the field and become a human barrier. 
Surprised me... I could work that hard as old as I am.  I considered giving
up once going past the beer tent.  Good thing I had a cup of coffee this
morning. THIS WAS THE ESSENCE OF NW CROSS in my opinion.

Crew was awesome! 
This was the first time in my numerous years of racing that upon crossing
the finish line, I went directly to the beer tent and had a Widmer
Brrrrr!   Never have done that before.  It was excellent in
harmony with the wonderful fire pit and good company.......until my mud soaked
body finally started getting cold. 
GREAT COURSE!  I bet PSYCHO was messy as well.
I sure hope Ironclad can bring it back next year.  For those who
thought you HAD to ride out.......there was a good bit more parking available
from what I could see.
