Sage Cycles- THANK YOU to the Cross Crusade

Hi Everyone,

First off, a BIG THANK YOU to the whole Cross Crusade crew, OBRA officials,
racers, and their families! I have had so much fun working with everyone
that stopped by the booth, raced the bikes, or just drooled over the bikes
on the rack as they walked by the booth, that I have to say THANK YOU to all
of you just one more time!

As I mentioned in the email last week, Barton was the last race for the demo
bikes since the Crusade is almost over (I am definitely coming to Bend as I
am in a points battle for the series lead), and customers have been
purchasing the demo bikes that were available in their sizes. If you are
interested in one of the remaining demo bikes, please contact me either here
at my personal email or through my website's contact form:
www.sagetitanium.com. I am more than happy to meet up with you for a private
demo ride if you have not gotten a chance to ride the bike. Please serious
inquiries only. Also, do not forget that both Bike Gallery and Veloce
Bicycles are the local Portland area dealers and have bikes in stock. Please
support your local IBD's as they are an integral part of our community. With
that in mind, I still have a few demo bikes left for sale:

. 52cm PDXCX 2- $2050

. 58cm PDXCX 2- $2050

. 58cm PDXCX FSA Special- Let's talk on this one: This is a
partially built frameset with K-Force carbon bars, OS-99 CSI Carbon Stem,
Carbon compressor plug, Whisky No.7 fork, Dura-Ace 7900 shifters and rear
derailleur, Hayes CX5 brakes, and a few other items. I can sell this as a
partially built setup, or we can discuss completing the build. Your call.

Over the course of 8 Crusade races, the demo bikes were raced 31 times! In
that span, we had 1 win, a few top 5's and a few more top 10's. Pretty
impressive results for racers that literally picked up the bike an hour or
two before their respective races. The feedback I got on the bikes was
fantastic and I truly appreciate everyone that provided that information to
me. It will allow me to fine tune the bikes for next year whether it was
from a parts standpoint, or from a frame design point of view. In either
case, I know we have some great riding bikes and I am really proud of how
they have come together.

Lastly, I know we are still in CX season, but some people have already been
putting an eye towards next year's calendar. With that in mind, I would
highly encourage you to check out our road bike lineup:
http://sagetitanium.com/sage-bikes/road/. While I will be the first to stand
up and say our CX bike is an amazing bike, I truly believe the road bike is
an even better handling bike than the CX bike. The geometry is dialed
perfectly for all day riding, long races, climbing and descending. Like I
said about the dealers earlier, both Bike Gallery and Veloce Bicycle have
bikes in stock right now and I believe they are running end of year sales on
the bikes as they prepare for 2014. It is definitely worth checking out if
you are going to be in the market for a new road bike next year.

Again, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the booth, worked the events,
or who I got the pleasure of racing against/ with this year. I have had an
amazing time with each and every one of you.

Sincerely,
Dave
