Hello All
The Oregon Mountain Bike State Championships will be the weekend of June
21-22 DOUBLE POINTS! XC !!!
June 21 features a dirt crit which is a fun mix of dirt, gravel and
little bit of pavement. Race starts at 5pm you can pre-reg at
Trailhead Coffee 47434 HWY 58 3pm-4:30pm
After crit fun get together with wheelie, junk bike toss, fastest flat
contests after crit at Trailhead Coffee.
June 22 DOUBLE POINTS ! XC and Shimano Youth Series Race
Great course with lots of single track. NEW COURSE CHANGES..race starts
at the high school in town like in the old days.....Sport and Beg will
be racing on a a different single-track trail off the WALL, you will
turn where the water stop has been in the past onto a great single track
trail, Expert and up will still go to the top, plus I have thrown in a
mini loop off the WALL....no one will do the whole WALL more then once,
instead we have added a fast paced 4 mile finish loop...the number of
finish loops you do depends on your class. Race finishes in Beautiful
Green Waters Park.
HIGHLANDER CHALLENGE....first person in each class up their part of the
WALL climb (that is of age over 21) will get a free 12 pack of
HIGHLANDER PALE ALE!
Youth series race will start at around 1:30
Nice custom awards for 1-3 rd in each class
Huge raffle
Free Mactanahan's Beer after the race.
