Hi, this is a 2006 Orbea Mitis frame with a full Ultegra group and
Wheelsmith wheels. You may remember it from such postings as "FS: 2006
Orbea Mitis Frameset 57cm" and "FS: Burley Solo Trailer, Orbea 57cm
Frameset." Well, I've finally built a complete bike and my wife needs more
room for her projects in my garage. It's been used for training and
racing, never crashed. Unfortunately, it has been hanging on a hook for
the two years.
It's made from 7005 alloy with carbon seat and chainstays, painted with
Euskatel Colors, paired with a Zeus FCM full carbon fork, and Cane Creek
integrated headset and compression plug. 57cm top tube, 52cm seat tube
(C-C). The cockpit is a mixture of FSA, ITM, Specialized, and Thomson.
The standard 53/39 175mm crankset is an FSA Team Issue, which I believe
can still be converted to a Quark, if you're so inclined. The rear
cassette is 12-27, but although I'm a clydesdale, you can still run 53-11
24/7.
The paint has some nicks in it from being shuffled around. The derailleur
clamp marred the paint on the seat tube during the original assembly. The
paint must have not been fully cured. The rear brake is missing from the
photo, but I can provide a new R-561 as part of the deal.
