That was a phrase that we used for a couple days just to deal with the weather, but it was very true. The snow on the ground was very dry and provided a safe racing surface. Thanks to all at OBRA and CC for delaying a couple races too; the sun just got the temp above 0 or so for the few Master C's that braved the race with our old-brittle bones.
The weekend also provided us multi-sport people a chance to break out our ski and winter climbing gear; sorry to all the tri and road only guys that we passed with our puffy jackets, multi-layers of smart wool, softshell, and Gore-tex. And with the full face shield, I received ZERO "nice beard" heckles; so felt a bit unsupported. I did see a helmet with a plastic bag taped to it; that was not a bad idea actually.

It would be great if anyone that took photos, video, or finds a link on the interwebs; to either share with the larger group here or on another post. Now that the day is over, we can say it was some great "Type two fun" that we shared together.
