The snow has subsided and we will have most of the course set up by 4 pm
today
Each lap is 1.3 miles with open sections for speed and some tight and
twisty areas to test you're slow speed fineness.
Parking is off of hwy 34 and 15th st that can be accessed either by going
through downtown for a cup of coffee or taking the bypass directly to Avery
park
Soup cycle of Corvallis and sky high brewing will be serving up food and
beverages from 11-3 or until supplies are gone. Soup cycle is a donation
based with a portion going back to the family assistance program
If you have tent and set up please allow 15 minutes to walk youre tent into
the area from 4 parking lots in the area
Online pre reg closes Friday at 5 pm and all who register online get a 5.00
coupon towards mudslinger on April 5/6 to kick off the Oregon XC Series.
Course conditions
Most of the course sits pretty high and drains well with the backside if
the course lower and possibly a bit slower for .10 or .15
1 set of barriers and a covered area for the 20 percent chance of rain
Costume contest will be judged by Dave Campbell and includes a first place
Yakima holdup rack for first valued at over 400.00 and second place is a
Veleau hydration system
Giant bicycles has provided floor pumps for every winner of each category
and bike n hike will be in hand to wrench if youre bike is failing you.
This event is the final race if the GPET and also is fundraising for the
family assistance program providing resources for kids to participate in
after school activities through Corvallis parks and rec
