The 28th Annual Joe Matava Memorial Classic & WA State Juniors Championship

Criterium



All proceeds from this race will go towards supporting Junior Racing in

Washington (50% to the MVA Junior Program, 50% to the Wheelsport Junior

Development Program).



Also, the Junior races are part of the Seattle Juniors Criterium Series and

Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Race Series.

9:30 AM Cat 4/5 Men 40 minutes $100 (5)

10:15 AM Cat 1/2/3/4 Women 40 minutes 50% of entry

Combined junior age groups will be scored separately for medals

WA State Championship medals will be awarded to the first three finishers

for each junior age group



The course is a flat, 0.6-mile, 4-corner loop in downtown Burien

Field size limited to 60 per race, except Pro/1/2 men limit of 80



Driving directions: From I-5, take exit 154 (SR 518 West). Follow SR 518 W

to Burien. Continue straight on SR 518 W as it changes into SW 148th St.

Turn left on 4th Ave SW. Please park in the METRO Park & Ride parking lot

at the intersection of 4th Ave SW and SW 150th St. Registration is at Sal's

Deli on 6th Ave SW between SW 152nd St and SW 153rd St (One block South and

one block West from the Park & Ride lot). The Start/finish is on SW 153rd

St between Ambaum Blvd and 6th Ave SW.

Days Festival immediately following the conclusion of the bicycle races.
