I don't think there was an original post, actually. During the second
(?) Cat 3 race at Alpenrose on Thursday, there was a crash in turn 2.
David Auker was caught up-track by a couple of folks, one of whom came
across into his wheel. David fell from near the top of the track, the
rest of the field remained upright. The race was called, and it took
quite some time before David was able to be moved off of the apron onto
the infield. He was taken by ambulance to OHSU. That's about where my
information ends, Candy, Peter Drake, or Craig Sinanian probably have
some more recent info than that. HTH,
