Cross is over except for the OCD group.
If you like riding at night, campfire, food and beverage, this might be fun. I have a birthday party that eve., but one can go out and hammer or taper as you choose. Nice folks........and I actually got Andy to race some short track and cross this year. He was smilin’ while hurtin’. If you cannot make it, you might want to latch on to their site for reminders when they do it again.
keep spinning,
ron

Subject: ADV: Winter Solstice ride at easyCLIMB trail in Cascade Locks - Saturday, Dec 21st at 5pm
Dear Ron,
Come join us this Saturday, Dec 21st at 5pm, for a Winter Solstice social night ride and bonfire at the easyCLIMB trail in Cascade Locks. The long range forecast looks decent, but the wind can always be a factor. The location of the bonfire will depend on the wind and weather. We will send out a message on Friday or Saturday morning if the weather changes and we cancel. Also check details and updated posts on the NWTA and Dimwits Withbritelites facebook pages. Got to love the Gorge!
1.. Upper parking lot where the existing fire pit is - no wind
2.. Gravel Pit down at Blackberry beach - if there is heavy east wind
3.. Thunder Island Brewing - raining hard.
We plan to bring some polish dogs and condiments for you to cook over the fire with our specialty cooking pole. Also as you come through town stop by Thunder Island Brewery (http://thunderislandbrewing.com/) in Cascade Locks and grab a growler of beer to join the fun.
Look forward to seeing you there. Spread the word and see ya then!
Cheers!
