Hi John,

Great idea!

I had a mountain bike stolen off my roof rack. They cut off a U-lock then dismantled the frame and fork, taking the bike and leaving the locked fork (and front wheel in trunk).

I had a road bike stolen off my roof rack. They managed to get everything this time (except front wheel in trunk). There was no damage to the rack, lock, or car, and no remnants of carbon, paint, etc. The fork lock was still locked.

First off, sorry to read that you've been the target of thieves. I wish you all the best in recovering your stolen bikes.

If it's not too much to ask, can we post how thieves got into spaces so others can try to prevent break-ins?

For example, if one searches "Coat Hanger garage break in" there are many videos showing how to prevent a simple trick criminals use to defeat garage door openers.

1.) 2001 black Cannondale XR800 Cyclocross 52cm. All black with black
fenders and bright yellow Cannondale lettering on downtube.

2.) 2009 white with red lettering Cannondale Supersix 52cm with Mavic
Ksyrium wheels (red anodized hubs with single red spoke) and silver bar
tape.

3.) 2008 Orange and White Kona The King Mountain bike size medium. Black
FSA wheels.
