GARMIN SYNC ERROR W/ INTERNET EXPLORER 11

Recently, the Garmin Communicator Plugin from Garmin stopped working with the new version of Internet Explorer (IE 11). This can happen by either updating your Internet Explorer Version to Version 11, or updating to Windows 8.1. Some of you who also use Garmin Connect might notice that the Plugin works there.

Garmin uses a private/special version of their communicator software on their own site, which currently enables it to only work on their site, and third party operators have to wait until they release it for everyone else to use. The temporary solution is to use either Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. We are anxiously awaiting the issue to be resolved by Garmin, and when it's deployed we will let everyone know.

If anyone has questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Anyone else having problems with Gamin Communicator?  I hadn't uploaded my Garmin for a few weeks, well ok I hadn't ridden my bike for a few weeks and both of my laptops are missing the Garmin Communicator.
I've tried to download it via the quick link and it does nothing.  I completed the installation via Windows installation and it still says its not there even after the Garmin page says it installed successfully.

Any solutions out there?

Thank you,

Gregg

Friends dont let friends use Internet Explorer. Your best option is to use either Firefox or Opera.
