TEAM TIME TRIAL
Mattawa, WA
Sunday, September 10, 2000
FORMAT: 3 person time trial, 2 must finish together.
All USCF rules will apply.
START TIME: 10:00 am
COST: $13.00 per person (includes $2.00 USCF surcharge
and $1.00 WSBA surcharge).
DISTANCE: 31.4 miles
CATEGORIES: Men 1, 2, 3 (no composite teams allowed);
Men 4, 5; Women; Juniors; Master Men (40+)
Note: All categories except Men 1, 2, 3 may enter
composite teams.
PRIZES: Medals for top 3 in each category and great
giveaway prizes (lottery).
COURSE INFO: Straight and flat for 24.4 miles and
winding, fun, flat roads for 7 miles.
SPECIAL RULES AND CAUTIONS: Stay to the right of the
roadway and do not impede any traffic. After the left
turn on G St. there is no centerline, so please stay
on the appropriate side of the road and use caution.
There may be some harvesting going on, so please be
aware of possible machinery, traffic, and workers,
although Sunday morning seems to be a slower time.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Drive to Vantage on I-90. At
Vantage take Hwy 243 South at the East side of the
bridge. (Do not take Hwy 26 to Othello.) Go south
about 28 miles past Wanapum Dam following the Columbia
River to Mattawa. Take a left turn on to Road 24 SW
and go 1 mile to the start line.
PARKING: Please park at Town Hall parking lot. The
start will be at the 25 mph sign.
