Depending on the type of tea and amount of tea used, there can be quite a bit of caffiene in Kombucha as a FYI.

i drink store bought but have been looking into brewing my own. most of the store bought is pretty good but i've noticed a couple are actually using fructose. from what i hear from most home brewers is that they add some sort of fruit for the sugar. i'm using all kinds of roots and herbs and stuff so can't really call out any energy i get from it but if my diet's pretty clean i can feel some clarity of mind and maybe a little better focus. probably more from the aided digestion it provides _______________________________________________

Long ago, I ready that Kombucha was a fermented mushroom concoction that
vikings drank to make them go berzerk just before battle. Since then, I've
always thought it was cool.

I've been drinking Kombucha pretty regularly (~1 bottle/day) since late
last summer when I started brewing my own. I mainly drink because I enjoy
the taste, but was initially interested because of the purported health
benefits of consuming live cultures, which I believe has been beneficial to
my overall health. I've found that my brew actually tastes better than the
store bought as I prefer original flavor with no blending. I have had the
best luck with Oolong Tea. I'm curious if any of you do and if so, what has
been your experience?

If you do drink Kombucha, do you brew your own or drink GT's or another
store bought brand? Why do you drink Kombucha? What's your favorite store
bought brand?

Thanks for playing,
