There is one name and only one name worth mentioning and that is Scott Peterson is Bend OR. Scott has been working with orthotics and athletes all his life and has been very successful with his clients. I am very please with the work that he has done with me and I am extremely sensitive to changes on my bike. I only wish I met up with him when I was just starting out in the 80's. In addition, Scott has outfitted several Pro cycling teams like Saturn and Mercury with orthotics along with several Gold medalist skier and snow boards like Chriss Klugg from last years Olympics.
He can be reached at Foot Fitness 541-617-1505.

Greetings!
Is anybody out there using orthotics in their cycling shoes to address knee
pain, specifically ITB-type problems? If so, any details you can share
would be appreciated.
My wife has had cronic pain similar to ITB syndrome. It flares up when
walking downhill, and after cycling for a while. Our tandem seems to
irritate it more than mountain biking, and I'm wondering if a contributor
might be bike setup. We've done the usual plumb-bob check, but have not
done anything with cleat alignment.
Is there a shop in Oregon that does a good job at bike fitting?
Recommendations?
Regards,
Jim Fischer
