Subject: [OBRA Chat] Hill climbing efficiency for the non-climber

Hello OBRA,
Please come out and join Team ESC Bio Racer and Wenzel coach, Steve Long
with a late morning workout with climbing efficiency drills. While this is not a Wenzel Coaching clinic, per se, you are welcome to come and join in the fun. The weather may be iffy but really we've been so lucky so far so expect Oregon type weather. Hope to see a few of you there.
Please RSVP so we know you're coming. If attendance is expected to be heavy, we'll schedule a second session in an effort to accommodate everyone.

About the ride:

The climbs would be fairly short with durations of around 4 – 8 minutes.

Effort:

Effort is expected to be hard but not all out.

Pre-efficiency drills:

In an effort to train muscle memory, we’ll do some short one-legged intervals to maximize pedaling mechanics.

Ride start location:

Oregon Trail Interpretive Center on Washington St. in Oregon City

Ride Start Time: 10:30

Ride duration: likely around 2 – 2 ½ hrs from the ride start location.
