Not to change the subject, but to put it into perspective:
Right before the 1947 TOUR DE FRANCE, newly wed, French rider Robic promised his bride: "I have no dowry, but I'll give you the Tour." She accepted that: "Show them you're the strongest." (see in "Tour de France: The history, the legend, the riders" by Graeme Fife) Those were the days when women knew WHAT to ask from their men...;) (but then again, that old Desgrange's saying: "sexe coupe les jambles"--"sex hurts legs", and according to him, to win the Tour always required two things: "tete et jambes"--"head & legs")
