Master Men 3/4 Crash

To the folks that were involved in the crashes from today or ever for that
matter.

Give your bike a very close look over to make sure everything is safe and
sound before you get back onto it. If there is *ANY* concern or you feel
more comfortable having us look at it, we are more than happy to.

Here are a few easy things you can do at home.

- The first inspection technique is to rub a rag over the damaged area.
In most cases the paint and clearcoat won't catch the rag, but if there is
carbon damage it will catch a few fibers as you pass over it.
- The other quick and simple test that you can do at home is the
"quarter tap test." If you go down your damaged tube tapping it with a
quarter it should make a consistent pitch throughout the entire tube. When
you go over the damaged area if there is damage it literally will sound
"dead", the tone will be lower than the rest of the surrounding area.

Ride safe.

I hope the rest of you involved in the crash are all ok. For the guy who went down right in front of me, I did every thing I could to avoid going over you and your bike. It was very difficult avoiding running over you when I am going 27.7 mph and you went down in less then 3 feet in front of me.

Anyway, I hope it is only our bikes that is broken.
