Just under 3 weeks until the 26th Mudslinger and Dirt stage race weekend on
April 5th and 6th

Day 1 on 4/5 pits you on a 2.2 mile hillclimb with just under 800 ft of
climbing and a new Super D featuring Dinner and a Movie to get you you
pumped on the way down.

Yes you have to have the same bike up and down! The Super D is new and
anyone can do it but......it is a bit more technical than last year so come
early if you want to pre-ride it before you stage after 12 noon on 4/5. No
shame in walking for 30 seconds on some of the steep parts to get down
safely!

Later that day from 4-7 pm we will be holding packet pickup at Peak Sports
(135 NW 2nd street) downtown corvallis with Complimentary Beer from Sky
High Brewing and awards for Day 1 for the Fastest overall Man and women in
the HC and SD.

In addition to the racing the first 150 in the door after 4pm will receive
a custom Pint Glass from Peak Sports and Mudslinger Events.

At 5:30 the BLM and IMBA will be speaking on the Alsea Falls Trail Project
and local IMBA Chapter Team Dirt will be on hand as well to socialize with.
If the weather is bad or you need a last minute purchase Peak Sports may
have just what you are looking for.
6pm for Day 1 awards for the fastest overall men and women

Day 2 features the XC with a 11 mile course or 20 mile course and this year
we will not be utilizing the stair step climb for the long course and we
will not descend Collarbone alley twice so this will be 15 minutes quicker
than normal to get you back for some pasta! also the aid station will be at
the base of Shortcut trail!

I am doing a final clearing on the Super D course and will have the map up
by this weekend.
