I'll chime in here. Burley's and Chariot's are great. Since you are leaning
towards the smaller more svelte one I'd look at the Chariot.

As far as where to get one? Craigslist every so often has a deal. Community
Cycles sometimes has them (check upstairs) that's where I got mine.

On a side note you could always get a cargo bike from Splendid or Clever
cycles.

Hey OBRA-

My daughter just turned one, and my wife & I are looking at a bike trailer for the next few years. We're looking for something sturdy & reliable, fairly lightweight, with room for one kiddo and maybe a few grocery bags, but not a big old' cargo trailer. Mostly for running around town and maybe some multi use trails, etc...

For all the cyclists and parents out there, would be very interested to hear what's worked well for you, or what's been a total bust. The Burley Solo looked interesting but have seen some mixed reviews.

And if anyone has the perfect trailer that your kid(s) have outgrown- we're in the market!
