Last year I bought my girlfriend her first road bike. This 2013 Diamondback Airen 1 was used for less than 50 miles and then I upgraded the components. It now has Ultegra 6700 10speed derailleurs, Ultegra 10sp flight deck shifters and an FSA compact double crankset. Since the upgrade it's seen only 1 short bike ride and it's still in great condition. The bike shifts and rides smooth. It will work great for a girl looking to get a solid road bike. Size 48cm.
