Just got this nice note from the kind folks at Plaid Pantry:
Plaid Pantries, Inc. has added Bike Aid Station to its entire chain
of 108 convenience stores. Locally owned and operated in Oregon for
over 50 years, Plaid has committed to offering cyclists all the
essentials needed to get a disabled bike back on the road. Each store
has a floor pump, tire patch kit and basic tools. Plaid met its goal
of having the aid stations ready in support of Portlands Bike Month
and the National Bike to Work day on Friday May 16th.
We know we have a lot of cyclists that already support Plaid and we
thought this would be a great way to offer something in addition to
the bike racks we already have at a lot of our locations. Plaid also
has a mobile app with a location finder, so any cyclist with an Apple
or Android phone can quickly get directions to the nearest Plaid (Text
PLAID1 to 99000 to download our new smartphone app).
