New Adventures from a PNW Cyclist!

Daniel HARM

Howdy Oregon!

My name is Daniel and I'm a racer who calls Seattle home. Heck, we may have
even met in person at races in our grand cycling community. I'm here
spreading the word about an Adventure Touring company I just launched.

The first tours are in Leavenworth, and I think they will be right up the
alley of a lot of you. Next February I'm leading a week long training camp
tour in the Jalisco Territory of Mexico. Soon to be added to list are
Maine, Massachusetts, China, & locations in S. America.

The blurb below I wrote specifically about the Leavenworth tours this
August. Summer fun for PNW cyclist!!!

******************

Hey Seattle Cyclists, Daniel Harm here, an ol' bike racer who began racing
for Recycled Cycles back in the day and now I race for and assistant direct
the BMW Development Team (go Whales!).

This August, my friend, Abigail and I, are heading outdoors and teaming up
for two adventure retreats in Leavenworth, WA, deep in the Cascade
Mountains. Come join the Adventure!

-August 7th - 10th
-August 14th - 17th

For 4- brilliant summer days, you’ll begin each morning (and end each
evening) with yoga and mediation led by Abigail. Ready to eat, all the food
will be hand-made for you by us from locally sourced farm-fresh foods. When
you are relaxed and well-fed, we will get ready for the day’s cycling
Adventure.

On memorable routes that can meet everyone’s pace, I’ll lead the crew up
along hidden car-free roads surrounded by incredible, rugged beauty. Took
me years to find some of these routes after many, many scouting trips on my
bike. To make it even better, during our rides I’ll be hauling all your
gear and fresh snacks for us in my bicycle trailer!

For your stay we’ll be living comfortably in a large mountain lodge tucked
away in outdoor splendor, by rushing rivers, under the heights of
thoughtful mountains. Located a few miles from town, we’ll have excursions
to local wineries, coffee roasters, and unique restaurants.

To share thanks for the many adventures life has given us, Abigail and I
will be personally sponsoring one spot on the tour for a fit, capable high-
school graduate from local community bike programs to join in for the
adventure. I remember when I was this age adventuring kept me on the good
path, and we want to continue this pattern in our community.

We both value the connections that are created in small communities. For
each adventure, we see it as an opportunity to create a micro-community of
movers and shakers where Abigail and I supply the Adventure.

I'm pretty excited about it, to say the least.

We're purposefully keeping the retreats small (each one will be limited to
10 people) so we can be sure to give everyone highly individualized
attention and share our cumulative knowledge on Bicycling, Yoga, Nutrition,
Adventure, Fitness-Well Being, & Actualizing Adventurous Goals.

Sincerely,
Daniel (and Abigail).
