Effective August 4, 2014 our 3 BR/2.5 BA home in NE Portland, located approximately one-half mile north of Whole Foods on Fremont St, will be available for rent. This beautiful two-story house was constructed in 2004 and we have been its only occupants. It has approximately 1,700 sq ft of living area and one detached garage. House has central air and heat and includes all major appliances (e.g. refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer). All floors on the lower level are exposed hardwood; those on the upper level are carpeted (excluding BAs). The lot is nicely landscaped and has mature vegetation throughout, and the entire backyard is fenced.

Terms include a one-year lease and monthly rent of $1,700. Prior to occupancy, renter must pay first and last month���s rent plus a security deposit equal to one month���s rent. Renter is responsible for payment of all utilities, city services, etc. No animal has ever lived in this house but we may be willing to compromise assuming renter pays an additional, negotiated security deposit. This home will only be rented to conscientious, non-smoking adults who convince us they will care for and maintain our home as though it was their own. Serious inquiries only.
