Register now for the 2014 Sisters Stampede, and secure your spot in this years race!
After four successful years of the Sisters Stampede, we are geared up to bring more fun to dirt lovers this Memorial Day weekend. The 2013 race brought hundreds to Sisters for a great combination of pre-race rain, and race day sunshine! Kids racers were on the rise in 2013 with over 200 tykes under 9, and more than 600 spectators who came to experience the atmosphere of food, beer, bikes, bike obstacles, and a helicopter visit from AirLink. Spaces are filling up very quickly, so please make sure to register soon!
2014 will also bring all of the above, and more! In tradition, on Saturday, May 24th, a block party at Blazin Saddles bike shop will take place (11-5pm), where riders will pick up their pre-registration packets (2-5pm). The block party will consist of raffle give away items, live music, BBQ, Three Creeks beer, and free bike demos from Felt bicycles. Take a demo bike on the trail, and see whats new! The race course will be marked and ready for pre-riding on Saturday, May 24th.
The racing kicks up on Sunday morning with Novice & Beginners leading the charge at 10:30, followed by everybody else in separate waves at 11:00. Spectators, and riders alike will have a chance to demo bikes from Felt on Sunday at the race venue. Everybody will also have a chance to sit in one of Subaru of Bend's beautiful Subaru cars. Everybody will also have a chance to win a Felt cruiser, Planet X 650b frameset, and a Jamis frameset from a separate Stampede raffle along with many other items from our generous sponsors.
Professional race timing will be done by Time 2 Race again, and we will be introducing for the first time electronic chip timing!
Registration packets will be packed with the following:
Each entrant gets:
- A pair of custom Sisters Stampede socks from DeFeet!
- Race Plate with Chip Timing.
- Hammer Gel.
- REI keychain.
- Gorge Delights.
- A beer token from Three Creeks Brewing.
- Post race recovery food from Rays food place, and Chocolate milk from Eberhards dairy.

Come enjoy the free kids race (9 and under) sponsored by REI! Kids will also have another chance to take a closer look at the Air Link EC-145 helicopter, and add being a flight nurse to their list of "I wanna be when I grow up" careers. We also have the most qualified course volunteers directing racers on course from the Central Oregon Emergency Nurses association!
