Reminder about OBRA Rule regarding Protests to Race Results

I've contacted Kelli several times whether it be for results information or just general questions. I don't think I've ever waited more than a day to hear back from her!

As far as results - I know that if I am really concerned about my own placing, I'll make the effort to ask an official after the race or I'll be glued to this board over the next 24 hrs. If I'm not willing or able to do that it must not be very important!

This points out who to contact. The link to the email of the Chief Judge is located at the top of the web page where the results are.
The chief judge is the only person that can make changes.

So maybe the way to do this is to have a designated location at each race for posting results. If they won't be posted on site, a notice is placed indicating results will be available on line. The rider just needs to know at some point whether they should wait around to make sure their result is correct or if they can leave.

All you have to do is swing by the finish line and ask.

In my experience....when there are podiums or championships, results are posted with a 15-minute protest period so they can move on with the awards. Otherwise, the online posting seems to be more common.

Sometimes there are good intentions for posting at the race but things happen that make it impossible. At Krugers on Sunday we had an unexpected field of 176 riders on the course at the same time which caused havoc at the finish line in regards to getting results done right then and there.
