Hello

Besides being the Oregon XC Series Race Director (Sorta kinda involved) I
am assisting as the Registration lead with my wife Andi and Joels wife
Shawna and also I am general assistant to Joel for this weekends event in
Sisters, Oregon.

First of all to those that have registered, thanks for the support and the
course, vendors, kids area and festivities will be going strong and we
appreciate the support!

*Registration*

You will be Chip Timed by Time2Race and issued a plate with a Chip on it
Please bring your OBRA membership card if you have one or you can purchase
on on site Saturday or Sunday am

As of now their are 450 registered for the event and that means if you do
not register before Pre-reg closes Friday at noon you may or may not be
left out do to the hard cap of 600 riders. Last year some 100 did not get
to participate and while some may be able to get in based on riders not
showing up, we want this to be smooth for all who do take the time to
pre-reg and come over for the Sisters Stampede and or Compete for a OBRA
State XC Title which will be based on existing categories with a few extra
break outs for the Expert (cat 1) men and women and the Junior Men and
women in 2 year age ranges.

Remember regardless of where you live in state or out of state you need a
OBRA annual license to be eligible for the State Championships.

All the info and more info will be posted at the Sisters Stamped Website
including packet pickup info staging times
HERE

*Safety *

The event has longer time gaps between waves at 3 minutes for most of you
after the Elite Men and Expert (Cat 1) men 19-39 and 45+ take off to
provide a cleaner race. Will not much elevation to gain you will be passing
people and please be courteous and ask to pass and pass when safe. I know
from previous years that it can get a bit dicey on the trails and with many
coming from out of State.

Dont get left out.....register soon

my twitter feed is @ripleyoutdoors and if reg completely fills I will
announce that or other pics from the course marking adventure with Joel

Thanks

Mike
