Sorry to hear about this Kristina....................I guess his race was
way more important than yours. Glad you are OK and whoever did this to you
should really come clean to you.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] To the male racer who crashed me on purpose at
Sister'sStampede
First, I would like to thank all the guys who let me and another female
racer by on the single track sections. Thank You!!! Unfortunately I
understand there are some guys who are not so nice and have purposely
experienced it! I asked a male racer to please let me by, he refused. Then
when I asked again, and asked him please I might be winning my category
(which I did win once the results are fixed, so you only slightly slowed me
down), he purposely slammed on his brakes right in the middle of the trail!
I crashed into him and went over the handlebars straight onto him and his
bike. We are lucky no one was hurt. The last two times I went over my
handlebars I broke collarbones both times...very expensive situations. This
racer might want to think twice about purposely crashing anyone out in the
future for it could lead to a legal situation! It is very dangerous and
someone could really get hurt. It is not cool to crash anyone out in a race
on purpose. Further, it is not cool
to crash anyone out on purpose in any situation...period! At the very
least, those of you who tend to do this...you might want to consider the
possible damage to your bank account.
