Thank you to the female racer who stopped and helped me get my tire back on the rim at about 3 miles from the finish. I do not have two left hands, but could not get the tire and tube seated - amazing what a slimy mess a bit of Stans can turn into. I really appreciate that you compromised your race result to help a stranded guy in need. While I could not recover much of the lost time, I did roll over the finish line instead of walking.
I'd be happy to buy you a beer, coffee or whatever you may crave after one of the upcoming races.
