On Friday, June 20th at 2:00 pm I am kicking off a new monthly bike ride. It is called Business on a Bike. The ride will happen on the 3rd Friday of every month and starts at the Salmon Street Springs Fountain on Naito Parkway at SW Salmon.

The idea is for busy professionals to get some time on the bike, have a chance to meet people with common interests, and help others make new connections. I know I've had trouble finding time to ride since I switched from racing full-time to working and raising a family. Bill Dolan, my co-organizer, and I both felt this would be a great way for others with similar circumstances to get outdoors on two wheels. Anyone is welcome. The ride should last 1.5 to 2 hours. Well head south along the Springwater to the Sellwood Bridge and then up into the west hills before looping back into downtown. Well regroup at the top of hills as necessary to keep the group together.
