OBRA Folks,

Over the years, Ruckus has grown from a small business in a tin shed to a
slightly larger business with its own building! We are extremely thankful
for our initial welcome into the community and the amazing, ongoing
support.

We are always looking for ways to return this support, so when the
opportunity to help out the women of PBLRB, we jumped on it. These amazing
women are going to take it to the next level and show the country what
comes out of the OBRA community. We plan to start lining up more projects
of this nature and introduce a new program at Ruckus that supports
different orgs.

Every so often, a bike never gets picked up, and ends up in the project
pile. For several years we have wondered what to do with these lost souls
and this year, we cracked the code. Working with local and national non
profit organizations, as well as grass roots cycling teams, Ruckus will
repair and custom paint these bikes and raffle them off to raise money and
awareness for the causes we believe in. The proceeds from these frames will
go directly to organizations in need, and the bikes will go to the lucky
winners.

The first two frames will be raffled in support of Presented By Let’s Race
Bikes (PBLRB). PBLRB is an Oregon based
project that supports and enables elite female cyclists to compete on a
national stage. PRLRB is breaking down the financial barriers associated
with professional cycling and is supporting female athletes through crowd
sourced initiatives. In support of this mission, PBLRB has already
partnered with The Athletic
and Sellwood
Cycles in Portland OR. We are excited and proud
to add our name to the groups working with PBLRB.

To enter the raffle, you can purchase tickets online here
. The raffle will end
on June 17th. We will announce the winners and total amount raised for
PBLRB on that date. Tickets can be purchased for either $25 dollars each,
or 3 tickets for $60 dollars. All money raised goes directly to supporting
the wonderful and talented women of Presented By Let’s Race Bikes. All
additional details about the raffle can be found here
.
