Unless this course is permitted as a closed course, I do not think the
promoter would be allowed to restrict access to the park. Such a tricky
thing to negotiate. That is why I am glad for the few private venues I race
at like Skibowl, where it is truly a closed course. Come race it...next
week.

I think I sent this message to another list...

​In the master's race, there was an orange cone placed out in the middle of
the course at the crosswalk after the u-turn (which someone struck) and at
some point there were 2 guys on skateboards right in the middle of the
downhill, we went around on both sides of them.

Although it might not be as visible as a snow fence, and may not be super
safe, a simple rope, garden hose or some 2x4s on the ground across the top
would stop all skateboards from entering at speed.
