Up for grabs is my dear disc-braked steed, just in time for cross season!
It has served me so very well (nostalgic photos included as proof) but it's time to make room in the stable. Honestly I never raced cross, but with some 25c's it made a wonderful Weekend Warrior steed: I was grateful for the disc brakes through some hair-curling West Hills descents and it's general burliness for spelunking through Forest Park.
I just overhauled it and replaced the following:
o chain
o cassette
o brake pads
o shift and brake cables
All of the other particulars are on my craigslist ad --> http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/4603657341.html
Both wheels are true, all bearings are properly adjusted. New rotors will be needed somewhere in the future, but the present ones still have quite some life left in them. There are a few spots of wear on the frame: the most severe is on the side of the head tube which is shown in one of the photographs. There are no dings or dents in the frame and no damage to the fork.
Comes with stock saddle.
If you're interested in replacing the bar tape, I can wrap whatever you provide for free.
I have some sharp-but-worn-out 23c Pasela's on there now but the stock Vittoria 32c cross tires/tubes come with it too.
If you don't have pedals I can probably throw some platforms or old SPD's on there to get you going.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
