Hi OBRA Racers,
The primary parking for the race has been moved. Follow the parking signs when you reach the park on Chemawa Road. Please, do NOT park at the boat ramp parking area! Parking will be on the grass near the dog park and the volleyball net. We will have a parking attendant directing traffic by 4:00.
Other NOTES:
- It's going to be hot so bring your swimsuits and take a dip in the Willamette River after the race. Consider leaving the family pet home this week since the forecast calls for 100 degrees. Bring them next week to enjoy the park. I guarantee they will be a lot happier!
- There will be a concession stand open selling hot dogs, soda, water, and other assorted snacks so bring some cash to support the local park.
- The course will be marked with paint on Sunday afternoon so feel free to do some practice laps when you arrive.
Finally, the course is everything you could ask for in a cyclocross course.....technical and fast! It's mostly dirt single track that snakes its way through the douglas fir trees and a riparian forest. You won't be disappointed.
