Hope you all have made plans to come to Bend and race these two events.
The RR course is the same Tumalo circuit that has been used in the past
and was the TT course for the Cascade Classic this year. One nasty
little climb and then a bunch of rolly stuff. Fun course with a little
for everyone. Even the power climber and sprinter! We've got some great
prizes lineup too, courtesy of the local bike shops, Hammer Nutrition,
Silver Moon Brewing, Voler Team Apparel, DeFeet, Nancy P's Baking
Company... the list goes on. The crit on Sunday features a four corner,
fast circuit on nice wide streets with great pavement. If you did the
Bend Bike Festival crit on Memorial Day, well, it's different. The
start finish is in the same place but we're going clockwise, the
opposite direction to the next block over. There's still a little hill
back to the s/f line. Cash is being offered up to both Men and Women
Pro 1/2's thanks to Mike Martin at Strategic Mortgage and Kent Cramer
at Cramer's Mortgage Services. Cool prizes to all other categories and
a bunch of primes. Silver Moon Brewing is hosting a BEER GARDEN too!
Bring the kids cuz there's a kiddy crit as well. <br>

This is an Omnium event! The TOP rider in each category (highest
overall placing in both the RR and crit) will get a killer little
trophy courtesy of Chris the master trinket maker at On The Way bike
shop. (If you haven't seen his stuff you need to go in the shop while
yer here and check out his creations...awesome).<br>
