I'm getting pretty annoyed with United. I have been trying to get some

answers from them for over 2 weeks now and still nothing much has been

resolved. I recently flew back east with my bike and when I opened the case

(Trico Iron Case), the top tube had a huge dent in it. Have any of ya'll had

any experiences similar to mine? Have you ever actually been compensated for

your damaged goods? I've been told I should get some money but I ain't

holding my breath.



Lesson learned: Always bubble wrap frame or use foam insulation when flying

even if there are 3 layers of foam padding that come with the bike box.
