Hello Obras,

I've been putting together occasional rides here for a few years now and have decided to take the next step and create a Google Group for this purpose. Portland is confusing for most people when they move here as there is no one regular 'shop ride'. There are literally hundreds happening all the time. So, within my circle I've noticed over time that many people get left out of the fun and the scene is needlessly exclusive to new people. If you're not on a team, you're kind of isolated.

Do these statements apply to you?

* I don't care if my road bike gets dirty
* I don't care if my cross bike stays clean
* I want to do base miles for cross
* I want to do cross miles for base
* I want to do base miles, but don't feel like going around Sauvie.. yawn.
* I hate riding with cars but I don't mind the occasional logging truck near death experience.
* I wanted to stop and look at the mountain but the group was already going down the other side
* Can't we just have a coffee first / after?

After I see that you don't want to send us spammy nonsense, I'll approve you. These will be pretty hard rides, but they'll be memorable. I encourage people to not ride outside of their means, cause if you ride with me, that means you're kind of lost up on some clearcut muddy bs nonsense.
