Just a quick reminder that we are hosting Antonio Mondonico this Friday, Sept 26th at 3:30pm. If you've ever coveted someone's custom Italian frame, you can now have your very own, handmade by a master. You can even have your name on the top tube!

Check out the Torelli website at www.torelli.com and come on down on Friday.

I thought that some of you old school folks out there might be interested in knowing that Antonio Mondonico will be visiting Bike Central in downtown Portland on Friday, September 26th at 3:30 pm.

Signor Mondonico has been building lugged steel frames for many years and is bringing his expertise to the U.S. He will take your measurements and return to his workshop in Italy where he will build a bike just for you, lugged and pinned in the old style. (He will also make aluminum if you wish, and you can also get a carbon rear end on your steel or aluminum frame if your feeling a bit more new school.)You also have the option of custom American paint, which can really personalize the bike.

I personally have two of these bikes (one road and one track), and they are the best bikes I've ever ridden, both light and stiff. Plus I don't have to accomodate some off the shelf sized frame - they were built just for me!

If you're interested visit the Torelli website at www.torelli.com

We also offer a 10% discount to OBRA members on all parts and labor.

Feel free to stop by or call me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Jen Featheringill, track racer extraordinaire
