was this correct for the Gorge Roubiax?
"Both lanes were open at 500 meters providing you were within the race caravan. I am assuming that you were outside of the caravan since no other fields finished with the top 20+ riders all together, but I was with the Men's 1/2 fields, so I don't know for certain. To be clear, a race caravan is typically the following: a lead car in front of your group (usually 100 meters up), an official behind or next to your group,  and a support vehicle behind your group. If you are behind the support vehicle, you are NOT in a caravan. If you have no official around your group, you are most likely NOT in a caravan. If you are ever uncertain about caravan status, look around for race vehicles. If you don't see any, assume the road is not open and you will be relegated or DQ'ed - assuming oncoming traffic doesn't end your race at 200m to go."
