Two days to go till Montinore and things could not look better. We have a
few things we want to make sure you know about:

*Pre Reg:*
Thanks to all who have pre-registered already. For those that haven't yet,
there is still time -
https://www.athletepath.com/montinore-road-race/2015-05-02
If you pre register, there wont be any waiting in line. We'll have the pre
registration sheet out and all we need you to do is initial next to your
name to let the officials know you are there on race day.

If you are not pre registering make sure to have your OBRA card with you at
registration so we can confirm you are a current member. (PRO tip: take a
picture of your OBRA card now so you know you'll have it with you always or
look up your name at obra.org/people to pull up your account at reg.)

*Numbers:*
Numbers will go on the left and bottom right for this race.

*Neutral Wheels:*
Thanks to Rolf Prima Wheels, each race will have neutral wheels. Huge
thanks to them for the support. Still bring extra wheels if you have them.
Our support cars will be ready to take them.

Thanks all. Please email me with questions. See you Saturday!

At some level I share Tom Marcotte's disappointment, I was thinking I would race 60 miles and I need it in order to get ready for Baker City.
However, having never raced this course, I need to be careful what I wish for. In defense of the RD, when I checked last week, there were no
preregistrations at all. If we signed up early expecting a longer distance we would have a more legitimate complaint. Likewise, a shorter race
will make it less of a war of attrition so there will probably be more action in the finale.

That being said, I'm racing Masters 1/2/3, so I will be in the same field as Tom (50+). Since they moved the afternoon races back there should be plenty of
time to get in two extra laps after the official race. I'm willing to race Tom Marcotte heads up for two extra laps (at no charge) and lets put a six pack on it! I still have a 12 pack I won
at King's Valley I didn't drink yet so I have my end covered.

William,
Thank you very much for taking your time and effort to put on the Montinore RR. I totally agree with you that it's one of the best races in Oregon for all the reason you mentioned. I'm not asking you to change anything or complaining just disappointed that the original races were shortened by 20% and that people actually contact you to complain about the distances of the original race schedule.

Keep up the great work and we'll see you this weekend.

Thanks again for putting on a great race.
