Just a reminder that Pickett’s Charge is coming up Sunday, June 28th. It’s the last race in the Oregon Off-Road Series.

The course this year is a little shorter for Cat 2 and up - 22-miles with about 2,500 feet of climbing. The short course for junior/novice categories is 16-miles and both courses are single loops. The course map is on the website: http://pickettschargebend.com/course/ We’ve had some thunder showers in Bend for the last several days and are expecting a few more, so the trails have been awesome…nice and tacky!

We will once again have Cog Wild’s Free Mountain Bike Demo Day happening right after the race as part of the Subaru Outside Games. Vendors and beer will be available from 11am and continuing to 4pm. All of the bike shops will have gear available to demo FREE. A downhill course is set up (on the Funner trail) with free shuttles back to Wanoga Sno Park. Online registration is open through Friday 6/26 at noon. After that, the price jumps $10 and is only available on-site during late registration and packet pick-up on Saturday, 6/27 at Sunnyside Sports. If you’re a major procrastinator, you can register on race day EARLY at the race start - until 9am.
