Hi folks, my friend and teammate Martin Acosta was hit yesterday evening heading up NW Bronson. A female driver was passing him on the left with the sun in her eyes ( didn't see him at all ) and clipped him hard with her side mirror. Martin was taken to St Vincent Hospital and was treated for a laceration to his forearm which required stitches and a separated shoulder and the usual bruising and road rash.
Please continue to take extra caution out there riding in the traffic as these incidents seem to be on the rise.
Martin is home now, in pain but recovering and should be fine.
