Movie in the ���Drome kicks off Thursday, June 25
Event at Alpenrose Velodrome benefits Kids Riding Bikes program

The inaugural ���Movie in the ���Drome��� is a community event being held at
Alpenrose Velodrome in SW Portland. The event is being held in
conjunction with regular Thursday Night Track racing.

Movie in the ���Drome is a fundraising event for VeloHealth, an Oregon
based 501c3 dedicated to promoting health, wellness and exercise to
youth through cycling. The event is designed to raise funds to
operate VeloHealth���s Kids Riding Bikes program. Kids Riding Bikes an
innovative technology based program that combines computer technology
and bikes to get kids active.

Racing starts at 6:30 and the movie follows at dusk. Movie in the
���Drome will feature two dates and films this summer:

Thursday, June 25 ��� Breaking Away (1979, PG Rated, Run time: 101 min)
Thursday, July 23 ��� The Sandlot (1993, PG Rated, Run time: 101 min)

There is no admission fee, but a donation is suggested. All proceeds
from the event will support the Kids Riding Bikes program.

Spectators will enjoy the Kids Riding Bikes set-up, racing, food,
games, raffle and the feature film.

The Alpenrose Velodrome is located at 6149 SW Shattuck Rd, Portland, OR 97221.
